Housing Starts & Permits Drop in April ’24

The U.S. government is reporting that privately‐owned housing starts in March, 2024 were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,321,000, which is 14.7% lower than February’s revised number and is 4.3% lower than one year ago.
